Ankle Surgery
The ankle is a complex joint that is commonly affected by cartilage disorders, including osteoarthritis and osteochondral lesions of the talus (OLT), as well as traumatic injuries such as ankle sprains, fractures, Achilles tendon rupture and anterior or posterior impingement syndromes. The principal surgical procedures aim to restore damaged cartilage, repair torn tendons and ligaments, and eliminate painful mechanical impingement.
I currently practise at Ambroise-Paré Hospital in Boulogne-Billancourt, a recognised referral centre for ankle surgery, where I perform these procedures using the latest minimally invasive techniques, including percutaneous surgery and arthroscopic surgery whenever appropriate. Ankle surgery has become one of my principal areas of expertise.
